Everybody has heard of Pop music and Pop culture, but have you ever heard of Pop art? Born out of the 1950’s, Pop art was a direct response to the growing lack of diversity and representation of the present-day imagery within the fine arts. In this program, students will have the opportunity to step into the shoes of Andy Warhol, Roy Lichtenstein, Keith Haring and other famous founders of the movement to create their very own Pop art with a twist.
